Welcome to the second issue of NAADS News. The theme of this issue is “NAADS Visible.” With only two years of implementation, the programme has started bearing fruits. farmers.

Peasants in all participating districts have embraced the programme through farmer groups from the village to district levels. They have been empowered to identify their agricultural needs and priorities and contract relevant service providers. The results have been increased yield and incomes.

The story of “Vanilla-getting people out of poverty,” “Kabale old soils produce new potatoes,” and “New techniques boost banana growing,” show that modern agricultural methods coupled with relevant service advisory are key to liberating farmers
