COARD Project Outputs
The outputs, lessons of implementation and various procedures of the Client-oriented Agricultural Research and Dissemination (COARD) Project are now available through this very site. The National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) implemented the COARD project, with assistance from UK Department for International Development.
The project ran in the Eastern and Northern Uganda from 1999 to 2004.
Outputs of this project include: Procedures in operating locally managed Competitive Agricultural Technology Fund and pluralistic multi-stakeholder Agricultural Research and Dissemination projects; lessons and process for demand articulation for Agricultural Research; Participatory Economic Assessments of Technologies; seed systems, soil Productivity systems and Agricultural knowledge systems in Eastern and Northern Uganda; Information materials for farmers on a wide range of Agricultural technologies; and workshop proceedings.
