Food scarcity to food security, Moroto district

IBORE PAULEX KOLIBI is from Katanga village, Naitakwae\r\nparish Nadunget Sub County, he is a member of Katanga farmers group. Ibore\r\nreceived two goats as a food security farmer from the NAADS programme in 2011 ;\r\nthe two goats multiplied to 17 goats, three goats were stolen by thieves, one\r\ndied, 13 are alive. Koli bi has not yet paid his 100 % to the group members but\r\nhope to settle it soon. Because of his hard work Ibore Paulex Kolibi has won\r\nthe favors from his group members and was then chosen to be the market oriented\r\nfarmer, this has even brought more smiles to his face, all what he sees is the\r\nfortune brought about by the NAADS programmers and he is determine to move even\r\nto a more higher level than what he is today. What he sees now is riches coming\r\nto his family through the door.

Ibore’s expense to-date is UGx 466,000 while his income is\r\nUGX 323,750. He has however managed to buy 2 more goats to add onto his\r\nproject. He faces some challenges of thieves stealing his goats and his goats\r\nbeing faced by diseases. He plans to build a proper house for his goats that is\r\nsafe, and will liase with police to carry out proper investigations of the\r\nculprit and eliminate them.
