Governance and Anti-corruption – GAC
Governance and Anti-Corruption (GAC) is a governance framework that facilitates efficiency and transparency and inhibits corrupt practices in the use of resources in the agricultural sector. This arrangements creates a positive feedback loop of increased transparency, credibility, consolidation, and appreciation for state authority.
The GAC framework ensures that transparency, fiduciary, regulatory, gender, and social accountability measures are clearly operationalized under ATAAS. The GAC arrangements are aligned with the government's anti-corruption frameworks and institutions.
ATAAS being a key\r\nnational project with funding from government of Uganda, the World Bank and\r\nother Development Partners, remains fully compliant with the three key principles\r\ngood governance of World Bank projects namely; transparency, accountability and\r\nparticipation.\r\n\r\n
