Promoting Banana Production for Food Security & Income Generation

NAADS collaborates with other agencies to accelerate the production and value addition of bananas and plantains as an industry, including the trade in the national, regional and international markets. Since 2014, NAADS has distributed over 4.5 million banana tissue cultured planting materials which has resulted in increased production of bananas in the country.
